    Dinner at my area's best steakhouse "Le Woods".

    The chef is kind of eccentric, but it's all outdoor seating and they really capture the "rustic feel".

    Spent a bit of the day hiking the High Rocks trail off of the Scenic Highway in the Mon with my wife and the pups
    First time out with my Hill People Gear chest rig. That thing is downright handy

    Kind of a wet, crappy day here. Snow's too soft for anything other than post-holing, and no dry trails. So we did the next best thing - walked to the pub for pints and cribbage.

    It certainly was. Not as pristine from other angles. It's the site of the 92 Olympics rafting/kayaking games. Kinda touristy but still worth checking out if you're ever in the area.

    Plus, if you cross the river there are FS dirt roads that will take you towards Copperhill or south all the way to the Lake Conasauga area. Some good campsites on those FS roads.

    Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I'm planning a summer trip for next year. Figure I'll drag the boat down as well and do some fishing in the lake.

    Haven’t done anything fun outdoors for the last six months. Working six days a week and spending Sunday scrambling to get ready for the next week. Those paychecks though....
