Great tag team. Therma rest honcho poncho and snugpak jungle bag both in blanket mode. Not the most durable kit, but extremely light and comfortable 20220723_193306.jpg

I thought they were expensive for what they were but I wanted them for a paracord bead and also thought there were only going to be maybe 20 or 30. Nope, 270 of the dang things lol. 20220805_181801.jpg 20220805_181832.jpg

They are, only downside to them is the hole is only 3mm, not the 4 they said. Not a big deal but didn't work how I wanted.

Barely but yeah. You have to cut or burn the tip of the cord to a thin point, but it'll go. I was hoping to fit two strands through though.

Yeah that would work maybe. I'm using 3mm 425 paracord now, but still can't fit two strands through one.

Bought this rocket stove and decided to try it out in the driveway. Attempted 3 times to make an egg and 3 times to boil water. I was unsuccessful each time. I changed my tactics a few times and once even "modified" the back of the stove to avail. I also changed wood types and made these small pieces from rough cut lumber, which again, did not work. Not sure exactly where I'm going wrong, but I'm determined to get this right! Also new to the forum, thanks for the add!

.....welcome aboard !!!!!!! Is that a cast iron saucepan you are using ? It may be absorbing and air dissipating more heat than the little stove can generate.
