Sooo, the final solution was to stuff the OSNI into an Osprey 20L stuff sack and attach it directly to the belt.

    Cut the size in half!

    And NO more Bounce!

Yes, the back of and shoulder strap harness are the Haley's Flatpack.
    upload_2023-5-16_13-30-40.png

The bottom portion of the harness straps are removed...

and the male Fastac on the end of the strap is clipped right into the female clip on the BFG Splitminus.

Pic above is of the old setup, so I wouldn't mess it up when packs were switched out.

I'll add the mesh backpad to the Flatpack before I use it.

I found this setup from some Internet guy that figured it out several years ago. Works slick!

What I like about the Splitminus is that you get some air flow behind it and it's thin, but firms up while still having flex with pouches attached. Got 2 more pouches coming in and every column of Molle will be used up on the chest rig and the belt.

@Bushman5 - Question?? There is an small area (gap) between the bottom of the Flatpack & the Hippo belt. I'm thinking of rigging some type of roll sleeve horizontally to hold my WI Poncho sideways, so it could just be pulled out of the sleeve without taking the whole rig off.
    upload_2023-5-16_21-38-11.png

I might be able to attach it with drop-down straps from the Flatpack, so it wouldn't interfere with the Hippo Molle.
upload_2023-5-16_21-43-47.png There's 4 rows of Molle that could be used.

    Maybe something like this sideways?
    upload_2023-5-16_21-47-0.png
    3 1/2" dia.
    or this
    upload_2023-5-16_21-48-21.png
    4 1/2" dia.
I thought I read that you were working on a IFAK pouch sleeve that could have roll just yanked out of the pouch sideways?
    Ideas?

As for your poncho storage in that gap - two 1” webbing straps would work very well

    gimmie min

like these - just weave thru the outer two columns , roll your poncho flat and secure with the straps

    IMG_0092.jpeg IMG_0093.jpeg

the poncho / jacket / fleece etc would form a nice hippo pad in the small of your back as well

Thanks for the links. I'm thinking on a IFAK roll in the gap, with the poncho roll on top of it. Don't know if there is enough room.

Yes, I had attached it that way right up under the Flatpack on the Hippo, but it would be great if I could attach a round pouch sideways like an rolled IFAK, so the poncho in it's stuff sack could slide out when yanked. Just trying to put 'limited use' items it the back so front Molle is not used up with these bulky things.
I'll look on the sites you posted. For the pocho it needs 4 1/2" diameter so I was concerned most IFAK slides weren't that big. I'll look.

Question: In your experience, do you think a poncho roll in its' own stuff sack 4 1/2" diameter x 8" Long would be retained and pull out better in a IFAK Sleeve that is Kevlar with bungee cords OR a Cordura Pouch of the correct size with a bungee corded collar?

Don't mind going down the rabbit hole IF there is a high probability that there's a rabbit down there!
Preliminary Test - took the water bottle sleeve and rigged it up under the Flatpack. While I could secure it there and it slides out well, it's too big for that area, so going to put a Trama Roll there in that wasted space. Going to go with a pouch on the beltline and reposition the VS Utility Pouch on the side of the VS GP/canteen pouch. TBC...

Had a VelSys RECCE pouch on order, but it got cancelled- No stock.
So after a looong search decided on this.

Direct Action UTILITY POUCH LARGE from Poland. Couldn't find anything in the States that was the right size.

Ordered a BFG Bottle Pouch for the WI Poncho.

DA UTILITY POUCH - Large $50.
    H8.3" x W6.5" x D2.8" DA Large Zip 4Colums x 4Rows
It's going to be my Snacks & Stash pouch.
    upload_2023-5-20_16-48-41.png
It will fill the hole on the far Right on the Splitminus.
I like the contour, narrower at the top, where it will be under my arm sometimes (shooting).
I needed it big enough to fit gloves and head covers. Stuff I put on & take off while on the move.
    upload_2023-5-20_16-54-59.png
Might finally have a place to stow my phone, although it's pretty useless where I go sometimes (no cell towers).
