That area looks pretty much like a 'rain forest'. We're just starting to have buds on the trees beginning to leaf.
Your rig does look 'Light & Fast'!
I really like the weight distribution of these rigs, so you don't have all the weight in a backpack, but it's spread out across the body. Makes it easier to move through the bush.

I like this rig. It would be good for a day walk trip because factually that’s all the outdoor activity we get most times.
I’ve got a Helikon-Tex on my watch list for that precise reason.

    Lid can't overlap.

Web attachment straps are 6 columns wide.

US Military Issue Woodland Camo Molle II Sleep Carrier was ordered.
    15 × 10 × 9” ~ 1,350 CI.
    20 oz.
May work without a compression sack, using cinch straps to compress.?..

Mosquito belt is a little longer and narrower than JayJays.

Think it would work great for a smaller/thinner poncho liner. Osni is just too big!

Tried a compression sack, but it's a little too big.

M-Tac Sleeping Bag Compression Stuff Sack
I think I can get a smaller diameter roll with the same length in a different bag.
Or I still need to try direct stuffing into a carrier without a stuff sack.
This one is big enogh to carry OSNI & Solo Tent.

US Military Issue Woodland Camo Molle II Sleep Carrier
    Specs say - 15 × 10 × 9” ~ 1,350 CI. , but width can fit 18" wide with no problem.
Osni fits well. Attachment straps are 6 Molle columns wide. I'm going to try a canteen on each side as the carrier has enough give and it will be attached on the round contour of the belt so I think pouches will fit under each side of the carrier. TBD...

I just wanted something to carry a few sharps and things around to work on my homestead property.
This is just something pieced together from parts I already had. Starting with an old hunters tree stand harness…

It all sewn together and not designed for this but I did have it set up similar to Bushies Scout rig at one time, it carries 12-15 lbs without causing you discomfort.

I used aBlackhawk gas mask pouch in place of an actual buttpack until I decide what what actual one I want to use. I could easily fit my Frogg Togg poncho, Ti mess kit with alcohol stove, a mountain house meal, extra water..this way you can just stop where you are rather than take a long walk back to where the Jeep is parked.
The only missing part is my water bottle carrier. I have a new one on order as the old one finally just came apart. (26-27 years of brutal wear will cause that. :D )

The unkillable Imacasa 11 rides cross draw and I used a couple of Spec Ops brand ammo pouches for FAK and needed things like a honing device and small hand tools.

I made a kind of “hammer loop” to drop my RMJ through. It’s way easier to draw/resheath it this way rather than attaching the sheath to you. When it’s in use you can drop the sheath in the Maxped Roly Poly. That’s also where my gloves, straight line string, note pad, cellphone, ect wind up.

I attached the Mosquito belt to the Splitminus and it fit perfect! But, it's just too narrow for the Large Molle Sleep Carrier. Also the VelSys pouches hung too low on it. Sooo I swapped out the Mosquito for the JayJays. The Carrier is still BIG but works on the belt much better. Going to try to load it up and take some pics tomorrow.

I like your big open pouch in your rig. I'm debating about an open drop pouch or another big pouch with a flap on it. I think it would be very handy to just drop in things like gloves, face mask, maybe cell, stuff you're working on when on the move. I've been toying with the idea of putting a poncho in a side hip pouch rather than in the buttpack or daypack so it could be accessed without taking anything off. Storms can come off the lakes pretty fast sometimes.

IF the pouches were not so BIG, it would have worked. It DID help me to see how to set it up with the BFG rig. I really appreciate you sending it to me! I'm a member of a conservation club so I'll see if someone could use it to set up a hunting rig.

I'm still looking at pouches. Found the dimensions of the Blue Force Gear Utility Pouch (H8.0” x W9.0” x D2.5"). Except for the depth, it's pretty big taking 6 columns of Molle. What do you use it for?

So the original setup was on the BFG chest rig.
    upload_2023-5-16_1-45-4.jpeg

It looked like it would line up well with JayJays Hippo.
    upload_2023-5-16_1-46-17.jpeg

I found another Flatpack on Ebay in Multicam, so swapped it out and attached the Mosquito belt.
    upload_2023-5-16_2-3-56.png
It attached directly to the Flatpack, like it was made for it.

But when I put the MOLLE Sleep Carrier with the OSNI in it, I could see it was wayyy to big for the belt. So I swapped out the Mosquito for the Hippo & attached the Carrier.
    upload_2023-5-16_2-8-46.png

The problem with the Carrier was that it was still too big and hung off the back of the belt too far, causing it to bounce when walking.
    upload_2023-5-16_2-11-4.png
That thing is HUGE! Not Fast or Light!
