Would have to be the 6 for me. I adore my 4 but the 6 is more capable. I have plenty of knives in the same size range as the 4 and the 6 with TKC's is perfect.

A bit of a hard vote to cast. I had to choose between the one I'd like to have the most - or the one I use the most. I chose the latter and voted Izula II as this by far is the Esee I have with me most often.

I'm new to ESEE and only have 3 and haven't tried any others yet.
    6 with TKC custom scales,
    Laser Strike
4 with the factory g10 scales.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet other than feathering some sticks. With that being said:
The 4 is out due to small scales in my XXL hands.
I thought the 6 would be it for sure but I can do a better job feathering with the LS. Both feel great in hand but I think I prefer the LS in this role due to the shorter blade and the spear point.

Guess I'd pick the LS based on that but the 6 may take the lead once I use them both for batoning and or chopping task.

I'm actually on a mission to find that 1 knife that I can have on me most of the time and want it to be ESEE. The 4 is obviously best out of the 3 to carry on my side due to size and weight so I want to love it so bad but I don't think it will work for me even with aftermarket scales. I don't want to like the LS with them funky looking scales but it feels so damn good. It's still small enough to carry in these parts without drawing too much attention if the sheath just wasn't so wide. Probably going to sell the 4 and have a sheath made for the LS.

I'd check out the TKC scales, the regular ones not the compact version. The regular ones extend the grip a bit and contour it while the compact ones keep it the same size and just add some contour. I wear XL gloves and have a little room left over with the regular TKC's.

It's a very difficult question.... depending on a situation really holds what I like or not...

    For EDC Izula 2 or the 3 ( now a 4 :) )
For survival Def the 5 or the Junglas
BUT I love having the others around for all different tasks... My Izula 2. Stays in my truck, my 3 stays in my small survival kit, My 5 stays in my family survival kit and the 2 or 3 others I let people just play with or loan out.

But over all then If I just could keep 1 knife live for ever and ever it would be the 5

I'd say the 4 time and time again. An old RC-4 was my first ever ESEE. Picked it up at my local knife store when he was clearing out some old stock. It felt really good in the hand and I've been in love with the 4 ever since.

I keep a newer version around the house for utility tasks, and a 440c version in my Jeep in case it's ever needed.

I own an Izula,4,6 and Junglas but my 4 and 6 see the most use and I will choose the 6 over the 4 as my one knife.
This is my 2nd 6, I sold my last one and regretted it. I just got this where I wanted it over New Years. It's still brand new..
I can't wait to get it outdoors once I get some free time in a couple of months..
TKC Winter Forest scales and a matching LT Wright sheath with a leather backer..
I use the 4 as my IMG_1502.JPG deer hunting knife..

Nice set up. I have the same one with orange and the matching ferro rod that throws nasty sparks. Ny knife is serrated so thats what i use to strike. 20170120_095123.jpg

I like that orange, I wanted that too but they were sold out.
I have strikers on my ferro rods, I have never used my knife to throw sparks.

Right now if I had to choose I'd probably say my Izula over my 3 (the only 2 I have)...but Id like to get my hands on a 4HM. I think that will be the one-and-only for me.
