I currently only own one (actually two of the same) and they are Zancudos.

I will have more fixed blades in the future and expect the next will be either a 4 or a 6.

It'd be either the 6 or the 3 for me.
The 3 is better if it needs to cover EDC type stuff, of if its paired with a chopping tool.
The 6 wins out for an all purpose wilderness knife.

I'm one of the two who chose Izula. It's currently my only ESEE knife, though I plan to add an RB3. I've owned a 3 and an Izula II. Both have moved on now.

For wood carving, I prefer my Helle Fossekallen -- yeah, I love scandi.

But my Izula rides in my pocket everyday. I use it numerous times per day for many uses, including cooking and eating. (I'm the guy at the restaurant who prefers to cut food with my Izula rather than their dull blades.) I love this thing.

Mellow post. Couldn't give it just a 'Like'. Got me all guilty. Carried only a II the last couple of years and everything was easy, happy.
Then I got a 3 and then a 4. Now, every morning it's: 'which do I carry ... what might happen ... don't want to be under knifed.'
So I ride off with the 3 knowing the Izula would've been fine but if there's an apocalypse I shoulda taken the 4!

You're in the groove. Keep It Simple.

For me, the 4 is the best compromise of size and utility that I can take anywhere I go.

They're actually orange -- remember The Orange Army? -- but the camera doesn't do colors accurately.

And yes, that Izula will be with me until I die. Then, somebody else will get it. ;)

Cool! That's the way I feel about my 6! I'll be buried with that thing!

I love my 6. I've bought and sold each of the other models' and the 6 remains. Well balanced for its size, great sheath, and large enough to do heavier work.

Once upon a time it would have been the 3 or the 6 but now its the 4. I find it can handle well enough anything the 3 could do and the 6 is nice for wood processing at camp but the 4 can handle it pretty darn well too. And I can actually EDC the 4 if I like.

Thanks. I've been a real slacker on the previous forum and this one. I just need to jump in with both feet.

The 4 is a great all rounder. I use mine a lot too.

Every time these polls or picture threads come around with all the talk about the 6, I keep telling myself that I need to use mine more. Maybe, just maybe if I ever get some time to get to the woods
