Being the ESEE forum, ESEE knives are the core of this forum. If you could only have one, which one would it be?

Here is the poll form the old forum:

Sorry, it wouldn't let me add anymore knives to the list or else I'd have listed all the other ones.

I'd go for the Lite Machete personally, but the 6 would be my second choice.

Junglas, it's become my most used tool in the woods and swamps here and where I hunt/hike in Mississippi.

Not just if I could only have one ESEE, but if I could only have one fixed blade.

I picked the 6 this time around as well. The last time I did this on the other forum, the ESEE 3 won out above every other knife, with the 6 real close behind it.

I picked the 4, but only if it's the HM version. If I'm stuck with the original version I'm going 6 all the way.

I like the 3 okay, but honestly, it doesn't fit my hand well. It was gifted to me by my son for Christmas, so of course I'll never get rid of it. I find the blade length of the 6 to be just about right, for many tasks. Plus, it has a good sized handle, that works well for me.

Izula II. My most used blade. Mostly for utility tasks.

    So handy.

I choose the 6 as well. My most used knife.

And always sharpens up again so easily.

I can see myself shifting toward the 6 as my field work and woods carry knife the longer I have it. I'm glad I listened to you, warrior, baldy and my son about finally getting myself one. That said clearing trails and batoning with my Junglas takes me back to my Nordic roots :D

Yes! I absolutely love being able to bring back a super sharp edge on a ESEE blade in a few minutes!

3 for me, all day. It's the perfect all around knife (for me), it has handled everything I have thrown at it from processing 20 plus animals in one weekend (food festival) with out being sharpened, to processing fire wood when I didn't have anything else. I carry an axe for most splitting but the 3 gets a workout too.

Yeah, the poll only allowed so many slots. There was the LS and the Camplore blades too. Plus the Tertiary.
