4 and 6 with no choil Candiru in AEB-L, 3V,or Magnacut Xancudo in 3V with Micarta scales CR3.0 in something other than 1095 and S35VN
The Gerber LMF II might be closest to what you’re looking for. Smallish choil, solid, and good grip with decent finger guards. Closer to an ESEE 5 than 6 though. It also has lashing points on the handle.
The candiru is my favorite production knife of that size. I would buy 2-3 the day they were released if they did something like this. My preference would be a Candiru in aeb-l, nitro-v, cru-wear, or magnacut. Run the hrc on the higher end, 61-63 for aeb-l/nitro-v and 63-64 for cru-wear and magnacut. And instead of skeletonized leave the tang full, other than the two holes to attach the scales, because I like the extra weight.
I’m still hoping for a full flat grind, .1 thickness, Candiru that’s in aeb-l, nitro-v, or any tough stainless, with a hardness of 60 hrc or above. Bonus points if it’s a full tang with only holes for scales and lanyard.
Just a regular original esee 6 exactly the same as it is, WITH NO CHOIL! But in reality I could go through life with a junglas and esee 6 and be all set.
an ESEE 5 light in AEB-L or S35 at an RC 61-62 would be great. do the 5 profile in the 4.5 mm izula thickness.
Injection molded sheaths should be made available for all models, especially those that only come with the kydex option. Like the LS line. It would be great to have a couple backup molded sheaths for these knives, along with the great quality kydex sheaths that are provided as standard for these excellent tools.
