I would really like to have Esee produce kydex AH-1 Arrow head sheaths that mount on esee knife sheaths. The ones I've found either costs a lot or don't seem that they will mount well on esee sheaths.

Hi, I had it made by Lamont Coombs a local knife maker. 1/4 5160 the handle is g10 I might post it up on the classifieds again. I have a bunch of user blades to maybe sell to fund another high end blade

I'm going to take the other side, a magnacut Izula (or even Candiru) would be an instant buy for me. I'd love to not have to worry about oiling/waxing my every day knife. Since that knife will be with me each day, I'm totally happy with the splurge for magnacut.

I would still be 100% on board with a Magnacut Izula or Candiru. I have some small production fixed blades in Magnacut and really like the steel. I just hate that some folks want everything in Magnacut now . But seriously, If ESEE put out a Candiru in a good stainless I would stop buying fixed blades in that size range.

I wish esee made a esee 6 with no choil and a longer slightly wider bottom guard.

Unfortunately that's a negative.. I enjoy everything about the esee 6 and junglas knives the both of them. Only like this. If you have a good imagination and with the knife maker eye for proportion and lashing points in bottom gaurd

Doesnt Busse do lashing points in the guard? Andy the Aussie would know. Maybe you need a Busse.

The only busse that quals for me would be the team Gemini bowie. A bunch of other makers do the holes too, but they are not close to the design I like. Plus They don't say ROWEN on them. The guards don't stick down far enough either. And the choil thing.

….yes the single talon hole is synonymous with Busse (not Swamp Rat or Scrapyard line) blades.

Busse are awesome steel and HT, none of the newer offerings have guards that I find useful. I have severe spine and nerve damage and I really like a large guard that gets in the way as sometimes I can't really feel my arms, hands and fingers. I can feel the " pressure " and still have grip strength, if that makes sense. So I can tell where the blade is in my hand by using the guard as a reference and I appreciate the safety of a sticky downy guard with a bit of length. Too bad the tops line up is so goofy looking and the guards barely go below the edge of the blade. The first rendition of the "sandbox" bowie was great but then they changed it slightly. Thank you everyone who responded. Good stuff here!

I have a cheap solution, one that takes into count your injuries

make yourself some custom Micarta scales , with a built in guard that extends out
