Looking forward to the “super blood wolf moon eclipse” on January 20th.

    Yes, it’s a thing.

The fact that that's even a thing makes me happy. And slightly tentative. And also kinda hungry...

So first it was a dusting of snow for today.

Then it was supposed to be nothing.

Then last night there was a couple of 15+ vehicle accidents and all of a sudden yeah we are going to get freezing rain maybe.

Weather man said we could get a half an inch, that would be not good.

Been there. Our last trip south to Tennessee was during the ice storm in November. Terrible stuff to drive in.

Turned out to not be too bad.

Roads seem fine and I didn’t hit any slick bridges. Of course they treated them with salt.

Looks like it is freezing to the smaller tree branches but not really to anything big.

So it’s 36F currently at my house.
70 miles away it is 73F and my dad is out mowing the yard.

My truck said it was 77° when I left work, but it was sitting in the sun I don't think it got over 75°.

True mixed bag of precip this week.

Flooding rain, hail, sleet, and ice all forecasted the next two days.

Well, here we are, down in the basement. Tornado sirens are going off. Hopefully this blows over with no damage.

    62* F here, and sunny.

We missed the bad storms, just got rain yesterday.

    Almost 2” worth.

Ended up blowing by us, due east. Not sure of the damage yet, but we barely got anything. Hopefully those east of us are doing OK.

We got rocked by an April blizzard...during a flood. Thankfully it’s melting again and the temps should bounce back this week.

Fargo went something like 63 consecutive days below freezing this winter. Living here has certainly taken its role on people.
