Knife Pass Around

I need a final list, so far it looks like one is going to Canada and one in the US. Anyone in Australia interested? I’m assuming that everyone has a way/knows how to resharpen a knife? Let me know who wants to go first and who wants last. If everything goes well, I should be able to mail them out Tuesday.

 

I have a few more I’ll be finishing up hopefully this weekend as well. I’ll make a post in the for sale section with the knives that are available when they’re finished and have sheaths.

Thanks, I’m not the best leather worker but they’re functional. I plan on getting leather tools soon though.

 

I’m thinking hard users should probably go last. I’ve never done one of these before so I don’t really have a set of rules. My main rule is: be courteous to the next person in line by sending the knife sharp. Once the last person is finished, please send it back to me. Please leave an honest review so I know what I need to improve or sustain. Please use them as you would use your own knives. Once everyone is done, I might try a real impact test involving a 45. colt....

 

Modesty at its finest. The sheath on my womans blade is excellent with perfect retention .

 

I’m ready. I won’t be hard using the knife. Just really want to check it out. Show it off some and maybe split open a cigar or two

I think I good rule of thumb is to ask the next person in line if they want you to sharpen it. Some people use that process as part of their review. Also some people suck at sharpening (hard truth) so if you're one of those people, pass it along and don't get the edge so out of whack it's a chore for the next person.

 

I’ve already secured a coconut source. Hard now days since every one cuts theirs of by commercial companies so tourists don’t get hit in the head lol.
