Truly wise advice...yet some ancient memories of small bore metallic silhouettes shooting seem to hint that none are safe from the demon. Spend all you want on the rifle, the fickle demon molest tyro and expert alike.

Michael seems to have been reading a lot of Dickens or Dante lately.

No, when one is retired the necessity of waiting for 5pm for the first drink becomes silly... beside those guys are hacks compared to my towering bullshit capabilities.

Good on you for taking the class. I hope to stretch my Creedmoor to 1200 yrds this fall. Then you will hear me whine eloquently regarding the wind

What ballistics program are you using?
What rifle did you use for the class?

That brings back the age old question - If you see Bigfoot in your glass one day, do you turn the remains in for the reward money, or see what barbecued Bigfoot tastes like?

I ain’t shooting nothing that looks that much like a human unless I am in danger! Hell, if I am dirty enough I could pass for one...actually more of an orangutan.

Rifle was the new Remington 700 Magpul Edition. 5 R rifling. Good shooter. Threaded barrel (suppressor is on its way). Trigger leaves something to be desired so Timney is coming. Still a good shooter. Better than I. Glass was the Vortex HST 4-16 x 44 (second focal plane)

Ballistics program was a wet finger held high in the air.

Both. He doesn’t need both big feet.

You must sell things on Facebook and Craigslist. Missing a foot, fifteen 12GA slug holes center mass.

"Bigfoot carcass. Like new. Light wear from moving it around, but if you comb the fur you can't even tell. I'll cut you a one time deal of double the MSRP"

I have the larger version of that scope on my 338 Lapua. I used it for a while but wanted the Razor II on my Creedmoor, I wanted Mil instead of MOA. All of my heavy rifles are Savage with the target triggerset to about 1 lb. my light CZ rifles have a single set at 3&1 lb.

I use the bullet drop program...you stil have to lick yer finger.

Morning cold bore drill: Sprint from 200 yard line to 100 yard line, unpack rifle from case, locate and load 2 rounds, fire two rounds into target without hitting baby. Time: 70 seconds.

My target is the circle on the right. My teammate's is the circle on the left. My rifle can always shoot well. Sometimes I can even shoot it well.

Worse drill ever. Handcuff your dominant hand behind your back, shoot 5 rounds into a 3 inch circle using just your support hand with nothing really supporting the rear of the rifle.

You lost me at sprinting 100 yards. Other than that, I like this drill.
