24" blade, so much larger than a main gauche. :D

Imacasa made? Or custom in the states? My buddies thought the trento felling axe was crazy enough, can't imagine if I showed up with that for a camping trip. I am headed south for winter work and will be hopefully be able to do alot of hog hunting, that could be useful!

Imacasa-made. Without going into it too far, this is a "poor man's sword" and it's gonna' be crazy inexpensive for what it is. More than your standard base-line machete, due to its complexity, but way less than even the cheapest Chinese-made functional swords on the market.

Sweet, I'm in! Personally from a defensive perspective I have always prefered a machete or sword to a hawk because I belive it would be much easier to disarm someone with a hawk, avoid the edge grab the handle and lever it out of the hand of the wielder. But a blade like that, not much room to grab it othere than the handle that's not gonna cut your hand to ribbons!

There were a few tweaks that had to be made to this sample to get it more inline with my design parameters, but they're working on that now and will be getting new samples out to me shortly. Once I've got those I'll be ready to pull back the curtain on 'em. :)

I saw the sketches of this months ago and photos of the prototype weeks ago.

Fine piece of kit. I'll own one.

Not at the top of my (very long equipment) list (-- winter gear is at the top), but on the list.

Stick 'em with the pointy end.

That would be the pointy end.

Sooo, is it time to pull back the curtain yet? Very interested in seeing this blade in its entirety.
