This Rossi came home with me. A toy for sure but a pretty looking one. It's in .45 Colt. Ruler is 6". This sort of gun is a rifle in Canada.
I decided to get into the 9mm game. Feeding the .45 is spendy these days. I figured get a model that has been on my list for 20 years, hk usp. Range trip today to break it in.
Nothing crazy interesting here but these are my hunting rigs for the season. After lugging my Mossberg 500 through the woods with a 28” vent rib barrel for the last few years, I picked up a Ruger American Ranch .450 Bushmaster. Pictured here with my trusty CVA Wolf muzzle loader. Next year I might add a compound bow or crossbow to my hunting cabinet to extend my season even further. Trip to visit family in Ontario resulted in a few minutes in a Toronto gun store (Al Flaherty's Outdoor Store which I could not speak more highly of, great people and section.) The Ruger PCC Chassis. With a Canadian 18.6" barrel it's still sort of a carbine. Haven't shot it yet but looking forward to it soon.
I like mine. I put a red dot sight on it. More felt recoil then you would think, I guess since the bolt is so heavy. https://www.eseeknives.com/forums/index.php?threads/new-ruger-9mm-carbine.5948/
