I'm guessing that to recommend you just buy both is not going to be that helpful.

Life can be hard at times!

 

I like the fact that the 25 got some of the features I enjoy about the umnumzaan - slightly wider blade stock, ceramic ball lock bar interface, no pivot bushing (I know most people love this, and it's okay, but I prefer the regular washers from CRK).

However, I hate the shape of the 25. Also, I can see the thinner blade making it a much better edc, depending on what you do with you knife daily.

My vote would be 21.

 

I have owned a lot of each and prefer the 21. I prefer Insingo blade shape but that's preference. The 21 feels better in my hand and I prefer the thinner blade stock.

 

.... and the 25 comes with Loctite so you can lock down the pivot to keep it from loosening. I personally never had one loosen up but some do. If that matters the 21 doesn't seem to have as many folks experience that.

 

Insingo is the only CRK I have handled. Not because I can’t but because I have no need to. Love this knife and I honestly think you can’t go wrong with either of your two choices. Don’t sleep on the Insingo though. It’s amazing

 

Got a new pj 21. Third time I have owned one and really enjoying it. Also the Cuban and my favorite Zippo.

I hit what I consider a landmark in paying off the mortgage (although I still have years to go) and decided to splurge.
