I can't wait. I'm sure I'm not grasping the scale of this thing yet, considering Nathan calls it the Behemoth

Yeah Kyle's wife folds him up and carries him around in one of those little Chihuahua purses.

Kidding, she'd never be caught dead with one of those things.

Sell an organ to someone with a field knife who needs that organ. Or just pay a lot.

What are the approximate prices on the FK and EDC when purchased from a Nathan sale? I'm guessing the premium on the secondary market is steep.

Definitely steep. $230 for the EDC and around 250 for the FK IIRC

Thanks for the info. That is pretty steep, but it's about what I figured it would be. I'm surprised the FK isn't much more than the EDC.

Not steep original pricing IMO, steep markups though. I've seen people paying $300 for an EDC and more for the FK's

Good to see his work on here, I've been eyeing his knives a while. Wish he still did more of the platen chillers, and radius platens. Met him at blade show a few years ago, kind of shy in person, but really nice guy.

The BEHEMOTH! Choppa!.. it is surprisingly light and nimble in the hand. It's a BIG blade and makes the LC feel really light, but it doesn't feel heavy to me at all if that makes sense. The scale and ergonomics of the handle are absolutely perfect. The fit and finish is what we all have come to love and expect from CPK, and I can't tell this is a hand-ground prototype. It came sharp enough to shave but I hit it on the 6000 grit side of my strop (green BRKT) and now it's like a short light saber. The 1/4" D3V blade made me giggle a bit when I unboxed it and I haven't stopped smiling yet. I hope I have a pallet in the garage because this bad boy is begging to kill something. I hope they make this something they can profit from because it'll be a hit like the rest of their line. Thanks again to the team at CPK and I'm looking forward to more for you three.
