Chopping (as in things down/in half) I think the 1311 may nudge it out. I LOVE fat blades though, my most used big blade in a fat (.30ish) flat ground Fusion Battle Mistress, it just makes me smile...!!! I had to pry it out of No2 Godson's hand a month or so ago, he was having a field day splitting wood for the house fire. Just packed it in the truck now to go bush with me next weekend, run it up and down a stop for about 2 mins beforehand and it is back to shaving sharp... :D

The toilet water even flushes the other direction.

No, it doesn't. Supposing this water on the equator doesn't produce a vortex at all.

That's why they don't have toilets on the equator

..... nope righty, when I hunt I generally carry my rifle over my right shoulder if slung or in my right hand. for years i have worn my fixed blade on my belt on my left (so backwards) decided that this time I would go with a dedicated lefty. The sheath maker is a friend of mine so I can ask for almost anything I want.

We don't use the indoor ponds you do in the US, I would defy you to figure out just which way ours flush in the moment... ;)

Love it. I'm gonna have Colton do a sheath for it and make it my deer knife. I believe it's 1/8" stock so it's real slicey. It's small but that's what I wanted. If I get a full solid grip on it my pointer finger is automatically in the choil.

It's gonna look real nice riding in a Rednose sheath!

It is hard to get a good gauge on the size, can you measure it overall and by blade and handle. My feeling is that it is a 311 "Show Special" or a "Grab Bag" as I have never seen it offered online from Busse. Show knives are what they take to the few shows they attend (Blade, Knob Creek) and offer up direct. They are often variations on production knives. Grab Bags were similar but a blind offering (you bought a $500 Grab Bag and got $700 worth of knives) and did also contain a number of unique blades.

No problem, I am away from home at the moment and typing on a phone, I will measure one of my 311s and my 511 to see where it falls. No question that it is a "special" but of which (3 or 511) I m not yet sure.

Just ran a tape over my 311 and the dimensions are pretty much identical. So it will be a Show/Grab Bag 311 (a 311 with a unique blade profile).
