...one of the other Aussie Busse fans also does killer leather work and I am the recipient of many of his great pieces.

....I will post a pic of the Vex and Mini Vex side by side. The Vex is more common.

Maybe with that 1311 I could use it like dynamite. Chuck it in and the fish come floating to the top lol

The 311 is a sweet little knife mate !! Some have have been critical of the handle to blade ratio but I found it to work well for the majority tasks a small blade like this would be considered for. That I am able to take a firmer grip on it (thanks to the larger handle) means I am actually able to make it work (for me) above it's "class" so to speak .

I can already tell that it's going to be my go to axe companion. You are definitely right about the handle it makes the blade a great size and as useful as a little larger knife

So I MAY have a fun toy showing up. Locked in a trade for a 1111 user. Hopefully it shows up and it's awesome.

    Not my picture.

You're right @Andy the Aussie he says it was convexed by a pro that only uses chosera stones. I don't mind the use because I'm gonna beat that bitch like it owes me money.

@91bravo Im betting with you on that one. I've been wanting one for a long time since I saw your 1311. Figured the shorter length would suit my needs just fine while still being plenty usable and packable.

I like it. The 1/4 stock packs a LOT of power. I split a couple small logs with no baton. I may try to trade it for a 1311 as I like thinner blades but this thing is probably the perfect base camp work knife. I likely just need to use it more before I decide.
