@Scott Whittington Thanks for the help. Can it be taken apart to clean and put together without mugging up the blade centering and action. I have been known to jump in the water with my knives.
The 0900 is a breeze to take apart and put back together. You will need 2 T10 bits for the low standoff screws. It takes a T8 for the pivot screw and T6 for the clip screws. I highly recommend WIHA Bits if you are taking apart knives. If not be prepared to strip a screw and ship it back to ZT. I learned this the hard way
Oreo sighting... picked a 0900 from a friend. I love it. Not afraid to use it. Fun as hell to play with. And premium blade steel. I don't know a lot about ZT. I hope they stand behind the knife. I don't need fixed for free but if it starts to rock I want it fixed. If I can sell a few spares I will buying an anodized from Scott. Can you do black, dark navy blue maybe a military green? I wish the clip was black so it would blend in better with pants.
I can do dark navy but not black or military green. Unfortunately we can not do anything with the clip because it is not titanium.
I have cut my hands and fingers probably 10 times because of the wave feature. I even stabbed myself in the leg taking it out of my pocket. It went in a good half inch. Definitely have to be careful pulling it out of my pocket because it wants to open and if it doesn't fully open I end up cut it stabbed lol.
Love this knife but really couldn't stand the wave feature. Finally worked up the nerve to do something about it and reached for the dremel. It's not perfect looking but functionally I got what I wanted.
Thanks! It wasn't too bad to do. Just a little hesitation about cutting on a nice new knife. But I wasn't carrying it with the wave on there so might as well. It's actually getting pocket time now.
