What are your thoughts on the bug out? I keep going back and forth on if I should get one.

I absolutely love it! It is very light and you aren't going to pry yourself out of a tank with it but for knife stuff it's perfect

Thanks! I've been considering it because of its weight and only for knife stuff. I'm thinking it would make a great knife for swim shorts and such.

It would be a good choice for that...another,perhaps better choice (at least for the swimsuit part) is the Spyderco Salt 2. It's the same as the Delica4 but with the H1 blade steel and no nested liners. Its extremely lightweight but still feels solid. I got mine with a MXG deep carry clip and love how it rides. When I'm at home and when I sleep, (I sleep with it in my pocket no problems) I live in athletic pants and shorts and it holds very securely even with the most slippery materials. I got it a month or so ago and its basically been my primary edc knife when I'm not at work. When I got it I wasnt expecting to like it or use it this much, just when I was around water

These aren't my pics, they are from when I bought it but all the pics I have are more scenic...

I did look at one of those and the Manix lightweight. Went with the bug out. I can't seem to pull the trigger on a Spyderco. I've had the Benchmade addiction for awhile now. Lol

Then you may want to stay away from Spyderco. Once you get a Spyder bite, there is no cure...

The 2018 price hike has cured my Spyderco addiction.

Excellent choice ! Carry a black serrated Pacific Salt the same way. So light you forget it's there. As far as the price jump, you get what you pay for.. Still a great deal for a sub 3 oz folder imho. Mack. 20180623_143431.jpg

Ha thanks. I’ve done it to a few of my knives. Then I can market them as “customized” if I go to sell them lol. Nah I just do it, no real reason
