Hi everyone, hope all is well. Has any body had an after market sheath made for the winkler belt knife ? I have had mine a little over a year and have not been able to love the sheath. Like to see some other ideas. I'm thinking something that drops the handle a bit and is narrower overall. Thanks for any ideas
I ended up sewing a custom leather pouch strath for mine to drop the handle more. The stock sheath is good, but does ride high. Might also be possible to fit the stock sheath with a separate dropper/belt loop too.
Hi and thanks for the reply. I have tried a drop loop more like strap set up like the esee set up I have for the 6. And junglas. You the nylon strapping we bolt the sheath to. I forget what it's called. I don't like the drop set up winkler has either. I might just have to do a pouch sheath with some sort of insert so I don't poke the blade through the bottom.
