What do you guys use to carry? Do you prefer one brand over another IWB/OWB? I don't think we have a thread that tackles this one. If we do, we can delete this.

I was carrying in a Crossbreed Supertuck but @shaneadams90 sold me on the Gcode Incog. Really liking it so far. The Crossbreed is a little more comfy but the Incog is more versatile.

I can't post pictures right now, but AIWB here. JM Custom Kydex w/ wing claw and foam pad. It's the bomb.

I have been using Sam Andrews Holsters for about fifteen years now and am very pleased with the durability.

Daily carry = AIWB as well.

I generally prefer leather for this, as I feel like it flexes a little more with the body, and doesn't have the sharp corners/edges like a lot of kydex holsters I've tried. Lately, I've been using a DeSantis "Inside Heat" holster w/my Shield. No complaints with it - secure, holds my gun just high enough about the belt line that I can get a full grip on the draw, and it's comfortable. Neutral cant, which I think works best for AIWB, imo.

But I also have a CYA holster on the way - heard lots of the good things about them and thought I'd give one a try.

OWB at 4 o'clock, horsehide leather, KRAMER Speed Scabbard; I have two of these holsters, one for S&W 340 and the other for a 329.

The horsehide leather holds up very well in the heat, rain, and humidity of Florida.

You should look up Sam's shop, he is in Alachua Fla. He has several videos on line that show his work.

The only thing I would change about this is having the guard taken down to mid guard from a full guard.

I have one of Sam Andrews Holsters that I bought off of him at a Lakeland Gun Show years ago when I lived down that way. Excellent holster, bought it for a Colt 1911 and got a matching magazine holder also.

This is a Blackhawk IWB I picked up a while ago for my snubbie. For not being anything fancy or custom, it's surprisingly well made, secure and comfortable. I really like the tab that does a perfect job of protecting the bobbed hammer from jabbing into me.

Thanks! I'm not always crazy about finger grooves on grips, but these work well for me.
