just getting into real optics always carried cheap Binoculars my daughter loves watching birds and wildlife so I gave her my old Jensen bino’s And took a gift certificate and bought some vortex 8x42’s so far they are awesome was going to go with 10x50 but it’s a pretty big size difference and 10x42 was a big price difference wanted to keep it at $200 ..... they are great so far anybody have suggestions for a chest rig for these
Awesome binos! I have a set of the 10x42's that I caught on sale around xmas time. I use this pack, and it gets the job done for the price: https://www.amazon.com/Vortex-Optic...gateway&sprefix=vortex+chest+,aps,1404&sr=8-4 If I had money to spend on it, I'd definitely go with something from Alaska Guide Creations. If you grab the Vortex labelled AGC pack, it's a couple bucks cheaper. https://www.amazon.com/Vortex-Optic...gateway&sprefix=vortex+chest+,aps,1404&sr=8-1
Vortex is my go-to now for scopes, I have a Stikefire II Red Dot on my AR. they are well made and their warranty is great! If you break it, they send you a new one.
Hard to pass up a set of Vortex Diamondbacks. Great binos, excellent customer service and lifetime warranty. I use a pair of 8x28’s for hunting. Nothing but good is all I got to say. Paired up with a harness from T & K Hunting Gear. Best investment in my hunting that I’ve made in a long time.
I’ll second the Alaska Guide Creations carriers. I have one and found that it works well. Good padding so when I’m hunting and not wearing it it just stays behind the truck seat.
