    smart kid. sounds like he hasn't been manufactured by a tiger mom either, like a lot of those kids.

    Imagine that poor kid's social life now - and in the future.

    Kids like that are on another level. He will never have the sort of social life most of the rest of us have because he's not wired that way. And that's Ok. We're all different. Nice to know there are a few bright bulbs still burning.

    I agree. What he gains in one area, he loses in another. He wont have memories of overnight high school sports tournaments and that kind of stuff. Or maybe ever even have friends.

    On the other hand, he might cure cancer.

    Kids. This reminds me of my three year old grand daughter.

    Why, just the other day she walked up to our son and said "Uncle Seth. I'm going to go take the biggest poop ever!"

    Then she turned around and walked into the bathroom.

    So really, it only reminds me of her because they're both kids. At this point we're just hopeful she survives pre-school.
