The response to our black oxide coating has been overwhelmingly positive. I would like to hear what your thoughts are on expanding the line...Which blades would you like to see first.

If you have pics of your Black Oxide knives that are "seasoned in" please post them here. It's my opinion that they look better with age and use.

    DISCLAIMER:
The ESEE3 and ESEE4 below are prototypes...we are listening to customer response but these are the ONLY two blades of their kind at the moment. They will also be GAW items in the near future on our Instagram and Facebook pages. If you haven't followed our social media pages please do so...

If I'm honest I think the entire line would look great in black oxide but definitely the junglas and junglas II and the 3 for me

We are indeed researching the potential of adding black oxide to the line but this will not happen all at once. There's a lot that goes into creating new SKUs, plus we don't like to hit all the dealers with a bunch of new SKUs at once. Before any of that happens we have several new projects we're working on to include the Gibson axe, Gibson Pinch and the Imlay knives. Should know more after Blade show on current line black oxide additions.

The Junglas would be epic. But then I can't really think of an Esee knife that wouldn't look great with Black Oxide finish to be honest.

I'd be all over an Izula 2, a 4HM, and a Laser Strike in that finish. I gifted my 4HM to my middle daughter and I've been holding off on replacing it for just this reason.

I'd fully support this. I really like the black oxide finish on my PR4.
