Refurbishing the ole fire pit. Starting with a new metal insert from the Fire Ring King. Going for new blocks tomorrow to line the outside perimeter. Really excited to have some more cooking options with this thing. I am literally going to consume hundreds of Busch Lts around this thing!!!
That's a killer set up. I visited that link and those inserts are nice. I know a guy who could also use one.
If you pull out one of the lower bricks and set up a leaf blower there you can make your fire super hot. @SEMO has all the great ideas.
Finally found some time in between projects to take advantage of the 3.5 acres of woods at our new house. Practiced making feather sticks and getting the shavings lit with just a fire steel.
