1.5 litres cold water in the Pathfinder Swedish stainless mess kit
    IMG_7694.jpeg IMG_7693.jpeg IMG_7695.jpeg

as of 1235 hours , The MICRO is still burning , water is hot to touch with bubbles rising and steam coming off the top. Not a full rolling boil, but too hot to touch - just perfect for coffee

Went out at 1237 hours - total of 27 min burn time (indoors, windscreen, no wind) with approx 3 tablespoons at most of methyl hydrate alky

That’s very cool! Super compact noodle cooking. I bet the auto parts people can source replacement o-rings that size.

On a recent trip to WI I had an opportunity to fire up the Lavabox propane firepit/grill.
Next to it a Mesa XL on pellets and small chunks of locally sourced.
Ran the Lavabox two nights, two hours each night on a 5lb tank with lots of gas to spare.

Also on this WI trip two guys brought newly purchased Blackstones. Both of them the same size. These have the 20240605_174407.jpg 20240605_181423.jpg 20240605_181705.jpg 20240605_182757.jpg new coated cooking surfaces, one with a side burner. Shown here flatbread pizza.
    Both purchased from Walmart.
