As after as targets go I buy the cheapest paper plates I can find. Generally 8”. If I’m working on hitting the center I staple a 2x2 postit in the center. Cheap. More money for ammo.

Yep... I've been using paper plates of different sizes for years now.

Can't see spending money on paper plates to shoot full of holes, rather spend it on ammo and beer, ;) use the empty beer cans for targets.:p Especially challenging when you lay them on their side and shoot for the end 3" @ 100yrds:D

Picked a G19 and did some shooting yesterday for comparison. As a side note, I’ll say the 19 is much easier to shoot than the 43 (it’s also the heaviest semiautomatic I’ve shot).

    G43 10 yards

    G19 10 yards

    G43 left G19 right both 10 yards

Last but not least. G19 25 yards. 7 of 9 on paper.

    Any update @Delkancott ?

You keeping both the G19 and the G43? Which one do you prefer so far?

    I'm thinking of trying a G43...

Sorry man. Nor’Easter got my forum viewing all screwed up. Haven’t shot much lately, apparently I pissed off the neighbors :) and I got busy. Trying to get out Thursday.

Got out for a few minutes today with the 19. Both are from about 12 yards. I’m really liking the 19 over the 43 for shoot ability.
