I've got a new ESEE 4 that I want to do some mods on and can't get any of the screws to budge. Any suggestions?
Ask your wife to help loosen them for you, just like the pickle jar I've not heard of them being lock-tited before but I could totally be wrong...All I can say is go gently and use a quality US made tool to minimize the chance of stripping it
Used my little torx wrench that I always use with no problems before this knife. I was wondering the same thing about them being loc-tited.
They could be lock-tite. I've had a few of their knives like that. I almost lost an eye trying to undo with a screw that was too tight, using a drill (500% my fault). Don't use a drill, and have the knife very secure and safe. For these types of screws that are too tight, you'll want a very good fitting bit. Or allen key that has a stubby end, gives you mo bettuh powuh.
