A few weeks back I had the privilege of instructing the first RAT Desert Survival & Bushcraft class out in Winslow Arizona. The students were great, and even though it was a small class (thanks 2020) a lot was shared and learned. Definitely looking forward to the next one, and other classes we’ll run out here in the future. Some topics covered: shelter (natural and artificial), knot work, friction fire, modern fire, finding and treating water, natural containers, primitive cordage, locating and making traps, and others. Here are some photos from the class. Enjoy!
