So I’m pretty stressed about a package that I sent to someone in Ohio. I keep checking the tracking number every day and it just says package will arrive later than expected. I called the post office here and they show it hasn’t updated since the 20th of this month. I read somewhere that it possibly might be sitting in a truck somewhere docked until the weather clears up. Can anyone here from the Ohio area confirm if that’s most likely the issue? I hope it wasn’t stolen by a postal worker or actually lost :-(
Massive snow storm in that area. Much like up here it has wreaked havoc on the supply chain / mail etc. I'm waiting on a parcel from that area. It hasn't moved since the 19th. just give it time. The weather is really screwing up the parcel system bigtime.
We had really heavy winds, and the temps went from the mid 40s to -30s with the wind chill in the matter of hours. It knock a lot of power out. Add in the ice and snow, and the fact it's the post office. Not surprised the package is delayed. On the bright side. The weather is clearing.
My parcel has been stuck in LA for over 2 weeks now. That's how screwed the logistics system is due to bad weather
@Michael W. If it is any indication of how screwy the shipping is now. @mazon Prime delivery is taking about 2 weeks to get to me. I haven’t had more then a 3 day “Prime” delivery in YEARS… I’m not talking a item that say it would take 2 weeks. This is a “prime” delivery will be 2 weeks…
