    Just finished applying a liberal amount of Sno-Seal to everything leather on this bolt knife. It's ready for some dirt time now.

    Also added a basic secondary retention strap. I almost lost my first bolt knife over on a small island on the Pacific years ago due to the primary strap snagging on underbrush. This little loop will keep the knife from falling out if that happens again. It also secures it if you want to carry it in a bag.

    Me too ! One day when I’m tired of my firearms addiction I’m gonna get one of the Bark River HB’s along with a Bravo 3 spear point. They make some gorgeous knives.

    Picked it up brand new from one of the larger dealers here in Canada, Blades Canada. Though, if you're looking for one one State side, MidwayUSA has them on sale for about $36 at the moment... The Ontario 499. You can find them at most stores, just steer clear of the Wal-Mart version (no fuller, no swedge, Chinese sheath).

    Fallkniven A1 and my grandfather’s “uncommon” WWII USN MK2/NORD 6581 Kabar (safe queen). I just sprayed the Kabar down yesterday with Ballistol, blade and pommel. It rarely comes out as it has great sentimental value.

    Some edge work, vinegar bath and work on the sheath today. I see this one easily becoming a new favorite. The size is just about perfect.
