Seconded. The podcast is great too.
I’m 5 or 6 episodes in to the first season of Better Call Saul.
So far, I really like it.
The haunting of hill house. A few episodes are kind of boring but for the most part it's pretty good.
Mountain - Good documentary. Great scenery too.
Second season of Iron fist.
Just finished Iron Fist and the Dare Devil.
Dare Devil season 3 was pretty good if you are into Marvel.
Watching Mountain on Netflix now, its makes my hands and feet sweat...
Watching "Norsemen" it's a hilarious take on one of my favorite shows called "vikings"
Come and See
This a 1985 movie done in the Soviet Union. It is in Russian with English subtitles. The movie is amazing from a cinematography perspective. The sound is insane and they used live ammunition, real uniforms, and real WW2 vehicles. The level of work that went into the film is amazing and none of it is CGI. In the scene with the cow they actually shot a real cow.
Great show and they did not skimp on the production of this show.
Yeah I was pretty surprised. Good laughs from a more serious part of history.
As a guy with Scottish genes heading to Scotland next year, I'll be watching this starting Nov 9.
I'm intrigued by Scottish history: Picts, Celts, Vikings ...
This one looks ... interesting.
Go by any name but their all German
It does seem that many of my genes came from that area.
[.. they're ..]
Peaky Blinders. Can’t get enough of it.
That's what happens while driving and trying to use the voice to text thingy
Next week (Friday the 9th, to be exact) marks the debut of the new Medal of Honor documentary-drama series about Medal of Honor recipients.
My favorite show to date next to Game of Thrones
Peaky Blinders isn't in my best of favorites list -- which is quite long -- but it's very close. It's just an excellent series, well produced, well cast -- Tommy is exceptional, and Tom Hardy (Madd Maxx Fury Road) plays a minor but important character so well -- fine sets and props, etc. It's not history, of course, but a decent representation of life and conditions there at that time. Highly recommended.
I haven't watched the latest season yet, but it's on my list. (I'm too caught up in more ancient historical fiction [[ and just plain fiction -- GoT in particular]] right now: Vikings, Scots, Celts.
I've also been watching a lot of documentaries and docudramas about WWII.
Hahaha... I understand totally.
AI. And some people think it may eventually take over. Color me skeptical.
