Ended up finishing the weekend with about 750+/-. It was a great start to the season. Most were small, some very small. But today after the rain last night and warmer overnight temps they definitely took off. Going back next weekend for round 2!
Another great weekend. Didn't count but ended up with three bags weighing around 20lbs. I'd guess 800+/-. We desperately need rain. We left at least one in the woods for every two we picked. Everything is bone dry and it's really playing hell on their quality. Still can't complain. Had a great time, though I'm exhausted.
my chant spots have been producing a few weeks now, but i only get there on saturdays, so i end up sharing a lot with the gnats and squirrels.
We went last Saturday but didn't find much. Most were small and dried up. Which makes zero sense with all the rain we've been having.
