another member and I are thinking the same thing......... we want to have ALL of you in one place, for a week. A MEGA ESEE-FAMILY-GATHERING Cast Iron Cooking, rope skills, wilderness skills, bush crafty stuff, drinking, shenanigans, knife throwing, ax throwing, spears, beers, hiking, camping, 4 wheeling.....etc. I'm thinking right here in BC Canada........because your USD $$$$ is VERY VERY STRONG here. Flights, food, supplies, vehicle rentals etc. And our terrain, wilderness and views are INSANELY AMAZING! think about it.......a giant gathering of ESEE staff, Expat and Ladies, The BC Esee Crew, The Eastern Triads (Klynesquatch, McKrob etc) , and all of YOU! Jeff and Crew could liason with local SWAT/POLICE/FIRE/EHS/SAR.........a HUGE MARKET..... EXpat and REDEYEHOG could handle the whole pig / cow/ lamb roasts and cast iron cookery every night..... Imagine a 100+ vehicle convoy of black suburbans rolling from Vancouver to Squamish or Pemberton Valley's, or into the interior Lytton.......? thoughts!
I love the idea, but coordinating between as many people as that would entail, finding a week we can all agree on, and actually have free to make it to another country without too much hassle...Eh, I don't see the turnout being massive. Couldn't pick better scenery though. Regarding guns, you get all of us in one place and we're armed, it goes from Gathering to Militia really quickly. The black SUV's are for showing up in, not circling the camp with red and blues.
you dont worry about the red and blues. They are family. I agree its a logistical nightmare. But how much fun would this be for a bunch of you!

It was Expat actually that came up with the idea...........I think it would beat any Busse or BeckerHead gathering.
For years (actually ever since I was a kid in the 70's), I've wanted to do a Cannonball Run. I'd like to sponsor one for all of us to go across the country. We could make Bushy's place be the finish line. I don't know if it's possible in this day and age when society thinks it's dangerous to ride a bicycle without a helmet, but I'd like to do it. Of course I can't have people suing me if someone dies because you drove for 50 hours without sleep.
