Only modded stock LS scales I’ve seen that I feel rival my first Esee
Yeah someone spent some time on those!! Its aint easy nor fun but the product is sure worth it.
That’s all @Emac ’s file work on the scales and the tang. I did some lesser quality file work on some stock scales and you’re so correct about it not being easy or fun.
I forgot about the cavities inside so there is a risk of having a failure.
Filing micarta is not fun indeed. With a dremel tool it would be better I guess.
First time I did a set I didn’t wear a N95 mask and I swear I could smell and taste micarta dust for a solid week.

Decided the spine wasn’t squared enough to throw sparks the way I like so file time.

Thanks brother! This poor Laserstrike sees no mercy, I loved the one @Emac modded and gifted me so much I had to get a second one to beat on and carry without fear of loss like I have for the one with all the file work on the tang and scales. Easily my favorite fixed blade knife design.
Christmas gift from my wife today.
