Apparently I've reached the age that every time a Dr. looks at me I need another surgery.
Little advice to a large number of you since we all have the outdoors in common. Sunblock and wide brim hats !!!!!
I probably should have added that this is what's taking up my summertime !!!

I am thinking of a cleaver for the kitchen just haven’t been sold on it yet... how are the armadillo eggs? I’ve seen the recipe and they look great

    I love them.

The cleaver is as much for outdoors as it is for the kitchen. Cut down trees with it. Then bring it inside to julienne the potatoes :)

Started work at a plant a few weeks back. Went from sitting in AC and listening to people talk all day, to hustling around on concrete in 95F and carrying boxes full of heavy. So I've been sleeping. A lot. Not that I posted that often before anyway.

Seriously DJ, your kid intimidates me. He is way tougher, more macho and way cooler than I could ever dream of being lol. I think my sons need to hang with him and toughen up

The heat has at least toned down the ticks...at least thats how it seems in our area

He is not as tough as he thinks he is. 12 years old now and believes he is invincible.

Some diminished tick activity here as well.

It’s still hot and miserable. The fishing sucks right now. The wife fried our budget for the balance of July on our Duluth trip.

I have a couple new guns that need shootin. Waiting until the heat breaks some. I need to get out fishing out and fish more, try some new stuff. Maybe play with the Cuban reel I bought last spring.

Honestly I’m thinking about digging out my fatbike of all things. I miss the funny looks I get riding it. Hey it’s a fat guy riding a bike with huge tires.

    I hate summer.
