This is RAD!
Dang what a great American company!! This is why I’m an ESEE fan!! The fact the toughness and quality is top shelf is a bonus of course!!
Slowly but surely getting there ...
Are you sanding the coating off? That's a lot of work! Use a stripper, like jasco. 15 minutes, done.
It's a great workout lol
Seriously though I ended up moving to just sanding the coating off over stripping them. I always sanded after stripping anyway cause I liked a smooth surface before forcing a patina.
If you decide to replace the scales lmk ;-)
No I got paint stripper to
actually do it but just wanted to check the etch was deep enough
Bit more progress getting there now bit more sanding then patina
Wow... that looks SO nice!!!
Looking great! Not sure if it's the angle, but looks like you got that dinged up tip straightened out.
Yeah took a bit off the tip just needs a bit more work to refine it now
WOW! nice job man!
Well finished for now.. might gunblue/bleach etch in the near future though..
Really enjoyed having a go at modding it and giving it a new lease of life
Thanks for making me feel welcome too great forum
Excellent job man, that thing looks LEGIT
Looks amazing man! Glad to have some new blood here!
Wow, I’m not really a Tanto guy, but that thing is a beast!!
Drag and drop the pic into the text box....and BOOM...pics appear...I always hit the full size button towards the bottom.
That looks pretty darn sweet.
Looking good, I'm on the fence for a Junglas II. Don't quite have a need for a big knife yet though.
