Did they stop grinding the spine on JG5's or did I get a fake? Font is a bit different than my other one as well.
US Customs is working to shut these down and going after the folks stocking and selling them. It's a long process though. Email me the seller's info jeff@eseeknives.com and I will send on to Customs.
Sent the email with ebay link to the active item and a pic of the shipping label. I will sit down and make some more detailed notes on the differences and post for others to see. It is a very close copy by eye and feel until you put it beside an original....... then file for the refund.
It's always wise to assume that if you are buying something brand new for cheap then it's typically not the real deal.
I make lowball offers on about every ESEE that will take one on ebay, I have bought so many knives for dirt cheap offers I'm due some disappointments, actually if It helps stop them it's worth it to me. When I saw they took the $55 offer I knew I would be doing a comparison, much easier to feel the difference than see it on this one. Hope ya'll get'm!
