Awesome. Im still afraid of heights.
I'm afraid of falling
That too. And stopping. And breaking. And ...
I will say ive been on the end of Mikes contraptions before and was safe.
Mike taught this class yesterday and did an excellent job
Glad to see Mike working. I’ve only ever seen him telling stories and eating.
He tells some tales thats for sure. When it comes to ropes his mind works so fast. I cant keep up.
I'm not sure if it's working fast or really slow and the fast part is just a bunch of fill-in BS until the real stuff catches up!
Too scary for me! Looks like a fun class though
Patrick and I already have a plan for you in March, Mud.
Something tells me, you guys just want to see a grown man cry. I've heard it sounds like silverware hitting the floor, when an asian cries.
Looks like a good class!
Hardest part for me on my first full vertical rappel was committing my weight to the rope. There was a drop of about a foot before the rope held my weight, and you have to drop yourself out of a window, 50' above a parking lot before the rope holds you.
Took me a good minute double and triple checking the system and my gear before I did it.
always the hardest part , going over the edge be it a cliff or or out a window. That moment you transition from a solid platform to being on rope.
Best moment is pausing on rope halfway down. and just taking in the views.
