I still kick myself for not buying it at the time. It was on clearance from a store in Eastland Mall in 1994. For $100!!!!!! I still haven't forgiven myself for passing on that deal.
Love all of those, especially Deathwish! Charles Bronson was the man!!! I'll admit I was a star wars nerd, had no action figures though. Dorky enough to have all the extended edition Lord of the Rings dvd sets and all of Tolkien's novels. Forced myself to read the silmarillion and it made me head hurt. I've collected different field guides since I was in elementary school. I'd get a new one as a reward for honor roll every report card, it kinda stuck cause those are probably the books I still buy the most of.
I have watched tons of movies thru the years I loved "The Ghost and Mr Chicken" and "Private Eyes" as well as the others I watched all if the horror movies as in hellraiser Freddie Jason Halloween amytivile etc not the complete works of any they just don't do much for me personally and I'm not much for things along the lines of "saw" I can dig some alien stuff it's not to bad. If you enjoyed red dawn(original) one of my favorites check out "tomorrow when the war began" it's an Aussie flic but pretty good IMO. I enjoyed the lotr series as well as the wizarding world of potter.
I watched the whole Deathwish series with my pawpaw when the was 4. Later on an older relative asked what I wanted to be when I grew up and I told her a vigilante. My folks had to pat me down before church cause I was pack'n my cap guns and paper cap rolls for a while after too.
Easily one of the best classic comedies. I just love that the whole premise was that he put cash in the garbage disposal because he didn't want to eat her crappy brownies. If you haven't seen it you're doing yourself a disservice.
Haha. I was actually going to type that when I wrote about the getaway car. "I could've used the extra time for varnish".
Robert Redford in jeremiah johnson, (Best survival movie made). The natural, butch cassidy and the Sundance kid (classic masterpiece). Paul Newman in as mentioned above, the hustler, the color of money, cool hand luke, slapshot. Easily 8 of the best movies evermade
