Put a magpul hunter stock on my ruger and then last night I picked up the sweet little tactical solutions black on black beauty!!!!!! My god do I love this thing. Kills the ruger in a lot of different ways. Still like the ruger but this is my new go too.

Today’s carry on this freedom loving day. Nothing like sitting by the pooL. Lighting off fireworks cleaning my gun from a good day of shooting and playing with my knives. CBB8EC48-C62B-430A-B40F-46D8D74D168E.jpeg

Yesterday my 8 year old hit 355yds with the 6.5, standing at a tank trap. Super proud of this kid. This is only her 3rd time shooting this rifle. I let her hit a steel gong at 100yds to see how she felt about it. Then the next time I pushed her to the 200yd target and then the 3rd time I had her hit 250 and 355. She's been bit by the bug for sure!

The face of concentration and the excitement once she realized that she hit the target!

I did. For a hunting/all-around rifle the ESS was pretty damn good. However, for a competition rifle, it had a pretty ugly flaw that MDT actually fixed by coming out with their ACC chassis. The forend of the ESS isn't flat, at all. Even if they did come up with a flat forend for it, the forend doesn't go all the way to the magwell. The design favors the AI AX rifle a lot, and AI owners complain about the same thing. When shooting from a barricade, with or without a bag, there's just not a lot of surface area to keep a steady position on the front end of the chassis.

I already had the KRG Bravo from my previous rifle so I just swapped it over and sold the ESS chassis.

Good to know. My buddy is building a long range rifle and was looking at the ess. I'll pass that bit of experience on to him.

Sweet! My buddies 11 year old girl shoots a mini 14 at 100 yards, but I don't think he wants me posting her on the net. I'll have to show them yours.

Gave in to the hype finally when I found this at a local ranch store for a pre craziness price, I can see why people are in love with these, got a jm custom iwb holster on the way and hopefully range trip this week. What I find really interesting is it points nearly identically to my p320 compact so hopefully should be a pretty quick for me to pick up, ushally with these micro guns I'm all over the place initially. 20200719_073529.jpg

The Sig 365 is the cats meow. I have two friends that own them. They are very accurate for their size. I'm sure you will like it. ;)
