I've read that using a camera of any sort without the appropriate solar filters will fry your lens. I'm going to make a quick pinhole shoebox thingy. They also just picked up two lenses from a welding supply store. They say Shield 14 is the only safe one but they were out of 14s so I grabbed two nines because I read that that will do the same
