So i have a friend who will be visiting Kathmandu Nepal in a couple of weeks and keeps asking what people want him to bring back. As i have never been to Nepal i have no idea what to ask for...

SO for anyone who has ever been to Nepal what did you bring home as souvenirs or gifts?

    Tips?
    Tricks?
    Ideas?
    Suggestions?
    Thanks!

Whenever anyone goes anywhere out of the country and asks what kind of souvenir to get, I always say local woodwork. I love to see the different types of wood from around the world and their art inspired by the different cultures.

Plus it leaves it up to the buyer how much they want to spend...

Never made it to Nepal; hung out in Tibet for awhile.

I would request a Sherpa if it were me. I get tired of carrying my own stuff and Nepal has the world's best Sherpas.

Sherpa is a race, not an occupation.

Well that race does a great job carrying heavy stuff.

An Esee knife. I believe they're manufactured near there.
