I only have 3: 1. Be cool. 2. Be respectful. 3. When in doubt, refer to above rules. My goal for Expat's corner of the ESEE forum, aka the "Inbox", is to create a repository of good stuff not only about Expat™ Knives, but also related to adventure, hunting, fishing, craftsmanship, cast iron, humor, and products and brands I hope others are interested in. Feel free to contribute things in that vein. There will be short films, some writing, some how-to's, etc. I want it to be a place to learn and a place you want to go to waste time. And to meet and connect with others. And maybe even do something for good once in awhile. But, most importantly, I want it to be an escape for the guy who's stuck in his cubicle farm, working for the man, who'd rather be on a skiff casting for tarpon, hiking in the Rockies, or freezing his butt off in a deer stand. What it WILL NOT devolve into is a negative place where no one comes because it stresses you out or pisses you off. Pretty much everyone of us has enough of that in the real world, (remember this is an ESCAPE from that stuff). I've been around awhile. I'm not naive enough to think there are any two people on earth who agree 100% of the time on everything. And that's a good thing. But differing opinions don't require disrespect. Enjoy!
Yes! Our resident wood whisperer is here! (Wait, that didn't sound quite right...) I will start a thread on the cribbage board here too as it needs to be shown off to newcomers.
I'm going to have to get used to looking at that yellow night crawler you call an avatar. Worms ain't yellow.
<still looking for that plate of biscuits with sausage gravy. I've found two place in my home state where I can get it: one in the town of Belfast (on the Atlantic coast), the other in Rockland -- further south on the coast, in a working harbor town --Rockland.. The Compass Restaurant in Rockland, on Main St, just up from the harbor. Why am I so hungry?
This is a nice place to watch the time go by. Thank you. Expat, I am digging that logo. By any chance you coming out with a patch or t-shirt? -Cooter
