the stitches are self dissolving and will disappear in 5 days... (ER Doc......)

its been what.....two three weeks now?

never mind i have repeatably RIPPED the inner micro stitches...the muscles are attempting to rejoin but they keep ripping.....so the entire wound site is getting "hard" with damaged tissue buildup.

day or two after stitches (external)

No one has posted to this in a while. Finally replaced the Junglas that I sold a while back. Got the knife on Saturday, spent an hour in the urgent care on Sunday:

Don't have any pictures but I sliced the tip of my thumb off a few weeks ago slicing garlic in camp for pico de gallo. Luckily I was camping with two EMTs, a marine field medic and the head of the local hospital ER. It didn't bleed much.....

Christmas Eve 2019. Poor knife handling skills while making a fire pit. Trip to ER. I was asked by the admitting nurse and each person who worked on my hand how it happened and if I got into a fight with my wife prior to the injury. I laughed at the domestic violence question but then realized they were serious. The ER staff must see that kind of wound everyday more than likely from a domestic violence incident, sad.

Glad you are ok. That could have been so much worse.
