I bought an Esse Zancudo from Smokey Mountain Knife works last week. I received it and was surprised to read made in Taiwan on the box . Also had warranty by Blue Ridge Knives. I was confused. The blade was like my other Esse knives quality. The handle appeared to be some form of plastic material. I contacted Esse and spoke to someone by the name of Jody yesterday. Super nice person. I asked about warranty and then was referred to Blue Ridge Knives . I called them an asked about warranty and was told they think warranty covers entire knife. Im unsure of this knife so I got rma from smkw and mailed back. Anyone have experience with this knife. I love all 3 of my other Esse knives. I just can't understand why Esse would allow another company to make handle possibly and another company to warranty this knife . Hopefully someone can explain it too me. I might be totally wrong. I can see newer knife owners purchasing this cheaper product then have bad taste for Essee
