We should be getting close to shipping the Titanium (made in China) versions of this tool soon. We are also making a Made in the USA version out of 440C stainless. Pricing will be the same for both Ti and stainless versions. Ti models will come in two versions: blue anodized and tumbled natural finish. Stainless version comes in tumbled finish only.
Because Titanium is cool. All your friends will be talking about you if you tell them you have a Titanium tool for your nuts. Stainless just doesn't have the cool factor.
Pleased to see this happening. I remember Jeff first telling me about it, over a healthy mixture of buffalo trace and habanero hot sauce. Original Jeff Randall sketch:
At this point I've quite asking.....that way I will be surprised rather than disappointed...we've had more machine breakdowns and equipment issues than ever....When I know, I'll let you know! or we will both be surprised! LoL.... Trust me when I say I'm doing the best I can given the info I have.
I appreciate you asking....just wish I had some accurate info to pass along...I get asked quite a bit and for everyone one asking there are probably 100 wondering!
Thanks man, in a holding pattern for now and I know the folks at Rowen are doing all they can to get caught up...been a rough year of equipment break downs and the machines they use aren't the kind you can just run down to the store to grab "really quick".... I've asked that they give me a weeks notice before the Axe and the Nut Tool ship so I can start re-engaging with posts to let people know they are in bound.
