A few Smokey C's meals. One is a carabou sausage stew. The other two are from a recent camp out. Veggies, more sausage, and Smokey C's in the campfire coals. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

I can't wait to do the Alfredo sauce with the White Sauce again and the mini meatballs with RedEyedHog as the seasoning.
I'm going to do a much better post w/pics next time.

Yep, Casey does a good job of explaining the two different brands. It's somewhere on this forum... I can't find it now.

Similar but different. In the Smokey C's Pit Powder it has more course granular spices and pepper. The course pepper adds some nice asthetics to the finished product of whatever you're bbqing. We also use mid grade spices to keep costs down because it is also the same as what we season EVERYTHING with in the restaurant.

In the REH original we do use some higher grade paprika, chili powder and chipotle powder for a more refined product. We also don't use any course peppers or spices to make it a more all purpose seasoning. It will blend in soups, stews, freeze dried meals a little better than the Pit Powder that has more course ingredients.

My bad I misread you're post. Smokey C's BBQ and Wings is a restaurant in Decatur, AL. It's a partnership between my brother and I.

Redeyedhog is a business my wife actually owns. It is a camp seasoning company.

On the old forum my moniker was Smokey C.

    Hope that clarifies everything.
