@VolGrad I appreciate the fact that you were even willing brother. I believe he brought 50 blades with him. He would've sold out just the same if he brought 500.

Also.. he's working on a folder design and I'm pretty sure he wants to put something out on the same level (or better) as CRK. I'm pumped for that.

100% NOT MY PHOTO. This is from the designer, Lorien Arnold, and it's a freaking badass!

I'll agree with that but I'm learning to accept and use them.

My first CPK arrived today! :)

No joke, this EDC is probably the most comfortable and ergonomically well-designed knife that I've ever held; it just melts into my hand and fits all the folds/creases like a pair of yoga pants on a fat chick.

The size is somewhat smaller than I anticipated - but it is a perfect blade size/shape for EDC (it's not just a clever name, then! :D). I typically don't EDC a fixed blade, but this one has been on my belt all day and it has been unobtrusive and small enough to stay out of the way. Loving this knife and the D3V steel so far!

@Benson X you don't want that thing. Send it to me instead :)

I told you it's that nice. Mine is on my 4 o'clock every day no matter what. It could use 1/4" more blade but I'm more than happy with it.

It fits perfectly on my belt at 4 o'clock, I don't even notice it's there. The blade length was slightly smaller than I'm used to, but it is still a great size for any everyday task. I'll let you know if I ever need to get rid of it - you've got dibs....but I don't think that's gonna happen (sorry) :D

It literally disappears on my belt as well. I got used to the size super fast. I generally pull that out before my 21 anymore.

Thanks. Unfortunately I ran into truck issues and I'm only getting the scales for the Field Knife now :(

    Nice score!
Are you going to try out any of their other knives now?

Possibly, but they are pretty cost-prohibitive and hard to come by.

The Light Chopper and "NASK" are both on my wish list, as are a couple more S! knives (new spec 5.1 & 12) - so I think I need to purge some gear before I can afford any more.

Don't mention the 12. I'm still upset that it's been over 2 years for mine.

Might as well whore out some pics here, too! :)

Had some fun taking HDR photos with the EDC yesterday.

I pre-ordered a 7/7 (factory 2nd) last week. They estimate a 90-day delivery time, but I'm not optimistic about that time-frame. If I keep my expectations low I won't be too upset about it, or maybe even be surprised if/when it does show up out of the blue. :)

Still waiting to hear back from Jo about those EDC scales and possible NASK pre-order. I also have a nice leather/kydex sheath on order from Rick Lowe for the EDC, it's gonna be pretty badass! :D
